May 8, 2025 Paper Piecing the Judy Niemeyer way Celeste Akre, a certified Judy Niemeyer instructor will be presenting a trunk show on Thursday and offering a workshop On Friday May 9th at the Grand Chute Community Center from 9 am to 4 pm. Celeste Akre – Quiltworx.com June 12, 2025 Bag Making with Sallie Tomato Carrie Wilquet, a certified Sallie Tomato educator, will talk about Bag Making Basics at the Thursday meeting. On Thurday, June 12th from 9 am to 1 pm Carrie will be teaching a workshop on the Sallie Tomato Aurora, a beginner-friendly slouchy tote with lots of room. August 14 2025 Vintage Textiles with a Creative Twist Eileen Daniels is a quilt artist, teacher, and lecturer from Brodhead, Wisconsin. She has a passion for sewing and quilting and sharing her skills with others. With a masters degree in home economics and a survivor of teaching in the public school for 30 years she now has her wearable art and quilts appearing regularly in juried shows across the country. Her winning quilts and wearables are inspired by nature and showcase many embellishments. For more than four decades Wisconsin artist / designer Luella Doss has captured the attention of many throughout the world with her spirited multi-dimensional wearable art, quilts, and soft sculpture.
